When you use the music recognition feature, the App records short audio clips (up to 30 seconds) from your device's microphone. These recordings are sent to our servers solely for the purpose of identifying music. Audio clips are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers after recognition is complete.

1.3. Recognition History

We store the results of your music recognitions (song title, artist, album) in your account so you can access your history through the App's library feature.

1.4. Device Information

We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version for the purpose of improving app performance and troubleshooting issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the music recognition service

• Authenticate your account and manage your session

• Store your recognition history for your convenience

• Improve and optimize the App's performance

• Communicate with you about your account or the service

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase - Authentication and user account management

• AudD - Music recognition and audio fingerprinting service for song identification

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data. We encourage you to review their policies.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Authentication tokens are securely stored on your device. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and recognition history for as long as your account is active. Audio recordings are processed in real-time for music recognition and are not permanently stored. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

8. Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

• Microphone - Required to record audio for music recognition

• Foreground Service - Allows music recognition to continue when the app is in the background

• Notifications - Used to display the status of background music recognition

• Internet - Required to communicate with our servers for music recognition and account management

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on this page. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
