Community Guidelines

GUIDELINE 1 -  COPYRIGHT AND EU LAW

The Solletores and Gallic Universe is subject to the laws and directives of the European Union, and its member states, as a project founded within the boundaries of the Slovak Republic.

1.1 The Solletores and Gallic Universe is to be recognised as the project's official name.

1.2 Content made by The Solletores and Gallic Universe, encompassing scientific, artistic, or literary works is protected by the laws and directives of the European Union, Directive 2001/29/EC automatically granting protection to creators within its territory.

1.3 Content such as models, clothing, logos, decals, images, and meshes made by The Solletores and Gallic Universe on Roblox are protected by Roblox Community Standards under the category “Intellectual Property Violations"

1.4 Users may not use content made by The Solletores and Gallic Universe without initial authorization from the SLGU High Administration.

1.5 Users may not use content made by The Solletores and Gallic Universe in a manner that suggests they’re affiliated with the project.

GUIDELINE 2 -  RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION

The Solletores and Gallic Universe presents its guidelines on the basis of common sense.

2.1 Users are strictly forbidden from exploiting 'loopholes' in order to evade assigned punishments or circumvent guideline violations. Engaging in such behaviour will result in the imposition of additional and more severe penalties.

2.2 We encourage all members, to follow the principles of common sense. If you are ever asked to cease a particular action by our team, please respect and abide by the request.

2.3 All members are expected to maintain respectful and civil communication with each other, refraining from personal attacks or the use of derogatory language. It's important to note that this guideline does not extend to satirical comments or jokes, as long as they do not cross the line into trolling.

2.4 Members are expressly forbidden from engaging in trolling directed towards community and local staff, as well as fellow members within The Solletores and Gallic Universe. Trolling, as outlined earlier, involves disruptive and provocative behaviour intended to harass or annoy others, and such actions are not tolerated within the community.

2.5 Members are expected to offer constructive feedback and participate in respectful, constructive debates. It is essential to avoid provoking arguments or resorting to aggressive behaviour when engaging in discussions within the community. This promotes a positive and conducive atmosphere for productive exchanges of ideas and opinions.

2.6 Members are strictly prohibited from employing pressure tactics as a means to divert attention from their own actions or to manipulate others within the community. Such tactics disrupt the integrity of interactions and are not tolerated within our community guidelines.

2.7 Members are not permitted to engage in behaviour that is designed to intentionally provoke or bait others into an argument or elicit a negative response.

2.8 Members are strictly prohibited from using mental and physical disadvantages, race, nationality, ideology, sexual orientation, gender, and gender identity as a means to circumvent or exploit community guidelines.

GUIDELINE 3 -  AGE GUIDELINES

The Solletores and Gallic Universe is a 13+ community.

3.1 Users who are under the age of 13 are prohibited from gaining membership unless they have obtained parental consent.

3.2 Members must be over the age of 16 to access or broadcast content that includes graphic violence, such as games, films, and content approved by platforms that allow this type of content to a certain extent.

GUIDELINE 4 -  SECURITY

The Solletores and Gallic Universe places a high priority on security and exercises caution to safeguard the integrity of the community.

4.1 The Solletores and Gallic Universe retains the right to remove accounts that are deemed suspicious.

4.2 The Solletores and Gallic Universe maintains the right to remove users who, without prior warning, associate themselves with a previously banned user.

4.3 To affiliate with The Solletores and Gallic Universe on any platform, all user accounts must have a minimum age of at least 5 months.

GUIDELINE 5 -  CHILD ENDANGERMENT

The Solletores and Gallic Universe maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding child endangerment.

5.1 Engaging in any actions aimed at befriending minors with the intention of manipulating or exploiting them, a behaviour commonly known as grooming, is strictly prohibited.

5.2 Any actions or content that sexualizes minors in any way are strictly prohibited.

5.3 Having sexual discussions with minors or requesting sexual content from them is strictly forbidden.

GUIDELINE 6 -  TERRORISM AND EXTREMISM

It is prohibited to promote content or behaviour that incites, condones, supports, glorifies, or promotes any terrorist or extremist organization or individual, whether foreign or domestic, along with their ideologies or actions.

6.1 The Solletores and Gallic Universe strictly prohibits any depictions of or support for terrorist or extremist attacks.

6.2 The Solletores and Gallic Universe unequivocally prohibits any depictions of or support for the leaders or representatives of terrorist or extremist organizations.

6.3 The Solletores and Gallic Universe takes strong measures to prevent the expression of support, condoning, or glorification of terrorist or extremist ideologies or actions.

6.4 Sharing slogans, images, flags, manifestos, or icons associated with terrorist or extremist organizations, whether in whole or in readily identifiable part, is strictly prohibited.

6.5 References to the ideologies, messages, or strategies of terrorist and extremist organizations are strictly forbidden.*

Fascism, socialism, and communism may still be depicted, under the circumstances that the depiction of any principles that infringe on SLGU Community Guidelines are avoided.

6.6 The Solletores and Gallic Universe in compliance with EU law enforces a strict prohibition on the recruitment of members for terrorist or extremist organizations or any encouragement of users to search for such information.

6.7 The Solletores and Gallic Universe strictly prohibits the expression of support, condoning, or glorification of acts such as mass shootings and other forms of domestic terrorism or violent extremism.

GUIDELINE 7 -  DISCRIMINATION AND HATE SPEECH

The Solletores and Gallic Universe through the principles of the Xenia Declaration, embraces and welcomes users from all walks of life, irrespective of their age, background, or identity.

7.1 Members are prohibited from engaging in any form of discrimination, mockery, or promotion of hatred against individuals or groups, either directly or indirectly, based on the following factors: age, race/or ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, religion or religious beliefs, disability status, veteran status, or familial status.

In the spirit of hospitium/xenia, all those who have differences from any one of us are welcome.

Those who are LGBTQIA+ are welcome.

Those of all gender identities are welcome.

Those of different ethnicities, races, locales, and backgrounds are welcome.

Those who are neurodivergent, including those who are autistic, are welcome.

Those who have disabilities including mental or physical conditions, are welcome.

GUIDELINE 8 - BULLYING AND HARASSMENT

Engaging in or promoting threats of real-world or online harm, incitement of violence against individuals or property, bullying, stalking, trolling, harassment, intimidation, extortion, or blackmail is strictly prohibited in The Solletores and Gallic Universe.

8.1 Members are expected to treat everyone in the community with respect and dignity. Singling out other users for the purpose of abuse and harassment is strictly prohibited.

8.2 Our community is committed to preventing sexual abuse and harassment. Targeting users for sexual abuse or harassment is a grave violation of our guidelines and will not be tolerated.

8.3 Trolling, which often involves disruptive or offensive behaviour, is against our rules. We expect members to engage responsibly and constructively within the community.

8.4 Blackmailing and extortion are serious offences that have no place in our community. Members must not engage in such activities, and any reports of such behaviour will be taken seriously.

8.5 Submitting false abuse reports can lead to unnecessary disruptions and harm to innocent users. We urge all members to report issues accurately and honestly to maintain the integrity of our reporting system.

8.6 It is a fundamental principle that users should never engage in activities that could cause harm to someone in real life. This includes not only physical harm but any actions that may result in harm to a person's well-being, reputation, or privacy.

GUIDELINE 9 - OFF-COMMUNITY BEHAVIOUR

9.1 Within The Solletores and Gallic Universe, individuals are encouraged to show respect to one another, regardless of whether they are interacting inside or outside of the community. Should credible reports come to our attention, we may take necessary actions against users.

GUIDELINE 10 - SUICIDE AND HARMFUL BEHAVIOUR

We have a strict policy against content or behaviour that portrays, celebrates, or encourages suicide, self-injury, or real-world activities that pose a significant risk of physical harm.

10.1 Sharing instructions or providing specific details about methods for suicide or self-harm is strictly prohibited within The Solletores and Gallic Universe.

10.2 Promoting, endorsing, or depicting instances or methods of suicide or self-harm is strictly against our community guidelines.

10.3 Encouraging or promoting dangerous physical challenges or stunts in the real world is a violation of our community guidelines.

If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide or self-harm, there is help available. We encourage you to reach out to a suicide prevention hotline.

GUIDELINE 11 - ADVERTISEMENT, IMPERSONATION, AND MISREPRESENTATION

11.1 Advertising in the Solletores & Gallic Universe without the consent of the High Administration is strictly prohibited.

11.2 Impersonating anyone associated with The Solletores and Gallic Universe is a clear violation of our community guidelines, and is prohibited.

11.3 Misrepresenting members of the Solletores and Gallic Universe, or the community in general is strictly prohibited.

GUIDELINE 12 - CHEATING, SCAMMING, AND SPAM

12.1 The use of any form of exploits within The Solletores and Gallic Universe, across all platforms, including our Roblox experiences, is prohibited.

12.2 Promoting or sharing phishing or scamming links is prohibited.

12.3 Requesting or sharing passwords and other information that provides access to accounts or sensitive data of others is strictly prohibited.

12.4 Engaging in repetitive large-volume messaging is discouraged within our community.

GUIDELINE 13 - MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

The following guidelines contain the membership requirements for all member groups of The Solletores and Gallic Universe. These guidelines are subject to change in the future, however.

13.1 To be admitted into the community, member groups must possess either a Roblox group or a Discord server.

13.2 These groups must also be compatible with the SLGU timeline. This ensures that they align with the community's thematic and historical context.

13.3 Member groups are expected to maintain consistent activity, ideally being active most, if not all, of the time.

13.4 Engaging in repetitive large-volume messaging is discouraged within our community.

13.5 Member groups are required to establish their own local moderation teams that will work in coordination with the SLGU High Administration.

GUIDELINE 14 - ROLEPLAY GUIDELINES

14.1 Members and member groups are expected to maintain a high level of realism in their roleplay.

14.2 Any major actions that have the potential to significantly impact the world, such as declaring war, forming alliances, or other large-scale events, should receive prior approval from the SLGU High Administration.

14.3 Members and member groups are expected to be well-versed in and adhere to the established world lore. Any substantial additions or modifications to the lore should undergo review and approval by the SLGU High Administration.
