Considering the progress of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in almost all facets of lives and disciplines, and promising bright futures for its admirers and users, Islamic studies discipline is not left isolated. The research works in Islamic studies and been significantly enhanced by AI. It is very important to be aware of the latest developments in this field from different aspects like: 1) Benefiting from the advantages of modern technologies in the Islamic researches, 2) Reorganizing the educational plans in accordance with these developments, and 3) Introducing the new applications of AI in Islamic studies to the academics of computer sciences who may be interested in this field. In this paper, in the first step, a systematic review was conducted concerning more than four thousand international scientific articles related to applying AI and modern IT in Islamic studies, out of which 975 ones were chosen.

Future of AI for Islamic Studies
Islam is a comprehensive way of life that provides guidance on all aspects of human existence, including the use of technology. Muslims believe that Islamic is relevant to the future just as it was relevant to the past and the present. AI promise much to the future of humanity from which Islamic studies discipline stands to gain much. Muslims believe that human beings are trustees of the Earth and its resources and are responsible for their ethical utilization. The ethical framework of Islam is rooted in principles such as justice, compassion, and accountability, which serve as a foundation for analyzing the implications of AI. For the use for AI, there must be ethical frameworks based on Islamic Shariah. Human as Khalifatullah on earth must be retained in any future recognition and use of AI in Islamic Studies. Accountability is another important requirement.
Muslims recognize the potential benefits of AI in improving healthcare, enhancing efficiency, and promoting economic growth. They believe that AI can be harnessed to address societal challenges and benefit humanity at large. From assisting in medical diagnosis to optimizing resource allocation, AI can help alleviate suffering and improve the overall quality of life.
