Food Photos: When you use the App to capture or upload photos of food for calorie analysis, we collect and process these images. Photos are temporarily stored to perform AI-based food recognition and calorie estimation.
Scan History: We store information about your food scans, including:
• Date and time of scan
• Identified food items
• Calorie and macronutrient data (protein, carbs, fat)
• AI confidence scores
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used, time spent, and error logs.
Device Identifiers: We may collect device type, OS version, and app version for troubleshooting purposes.
We use the collected information for:
• Core functionality - processing food photos and calculating nutrition
• Service improvement - analyzing usage patterns and identifying bugs
• User support - responding to inquiries
• Analytics - understanding user behavior

We do NOT use your information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4.1 Local Storage
Your scan history is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. This data remains on your device and is not automatically synced to cloud servers.
4.2 Cloud Storage
Food photos uploaded for AI analysis are temporarily stored on secure cloud servers during processing. These images are:
• Encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
• Deleted after analysis is complete
• Not retained for training or other purposes without your consent

We implement industry-standard security measures including end-to-end encryption, secure authentication protocols, and regular security audits.
5.1 Third-Party Service Providers

5.3 No Sale of Personal Data
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
• Scan History: Stored locally until you delete it
• Food Photos: Deleted from servers immediately after analysis (typically within minutes)
• Usage Analytics: Retained for up to 12 months
• Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active
7.1 Access and Deletion
You have the right to access your scan history, delete individual scans, or request deletion of your data from our servers.
7.2 Data Portability
You may request a copy of your scan history in a portable format.
7.3 GDPR and CCPA Compliance
If you are located in the European Union or are a California resident, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
