SolidSoft ("we", "us", or "our") built the Gym Exercise Guide application (the "App") as a mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is handled.

2.1 Health and Fitness Data (Health Data)

The App collects and processes the following health-related data to provide its core functionality:

• Workout plan preferences — your selected fitness level (beginner, intermediate, advanced), training goals (strength, hypertrophy, endurance, general fitness), and preferred number of training days per week. This data is used to generate personalized weekly workout plans.

• Supplement and nutrition preferences — your selected pre-workout supplements (e.g., creatine, BCAA, caffeine, beta-alanine, citrulline) and post-workout nutrition (e.g., whey protein, casein, glutamine, electrolytes), including custom supplement entries and preferred reminder times. This data is used to schedule local notifications reminding you about supplement intake.

• Favorite exercises — exercises you mark as favorites for quick access.

2.2 Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Notifications — to send local reminders about supplement intake before and after workouts. You can enable or disable notifications at any time within the App settings or your device settings.

• Calendar access — to export your generated workout plan to your device calendar. Calendar access is requested only when you choose to export your plan. The App writes workout events to your calendar but does not read or collect any existing calendar data.

2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

• We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, address, phone number).

• We do not collect location data.

• We do not collect payment or financial information.

• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs.

• We do not require user account creation or login.

• We do not transmit any data to external servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

All data collected by the App is used exclusively to provide the App's core functionality:

• Fitness level, training goal, days per week → Generate personalized weekly workout plans

• Supplement preferences and timing → Schedule local notification reminders

• Favorite exercises → Display your saved exercises for quick access

• Calendar events (write-only) → Export workout plan to your device calendar

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the App's features as described above.

4. Data Storage and Retention

4.1 Local Storage Only

All data is stored exclusively on your device using the device's local storage (AsyncStorage). No data is transmitted to, stored on, or processed by any external server, cloud service, or third-party platform.

4.2 Retention Period

Your data is retained on your device for as long as:

• The App is installed on your device, or

• You choose to delete the data manually within the App.

When you uninstall the App, all locally stored data (workout plans, supplement preferences, favorite exercises, language settings) is automatically and permanently deleted from your device by the operating system.

5. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data at all times. You can delete your data in the following ways:

5.1 In-App Deletion

• Workout plans — tap "Regenerate" on the Plan screen to replace your current plan, or the plan data is cleared when you change configuration settings.

• Favorite exercises — tap the heart icon on any favorited exercise to remove it from your favorites.

• Supplement settings — disable the "Enable Reminders" toggle to clear all scheduled notifications, or uncheck individual supplements to remove them from your reminders.

• Custom supplements — remove any custom supplement entries you have added.

• Language preferences — change your language selection at any time in Settings.

5.2 Complete Data Deletion

To delete all data stored by the App:

1. Uninstall the App — removing the App from your device will permanently delete all associated data stored in local storage.

2. Clear App data — on Android, go to Settings → Apps → Gym Exercise Guide → Storage → Clear Data. On iOS, uninstalling and reinstalling the App will clear all data.

After deletion, your data cannot be recovered, as no copies exist on any server or cloud storage.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any third parties. Since all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to external servers, no third party has access to your information.

The App does not contain:

• Third-party analytics tools

• Advertising networks or SDKs

• Social media tracking pixels

• Any server-side data collection mechanisms

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information and stores all data locally. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to address the concern.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All data is stored locally on your device, protected by your device's built-in security features (screen lock, encryption).

• No data is transmitted over the internet, eliminating risks associated with network interception.

• The App does not require an internet connection to function.

9. Your Rights

As a user, you have the right to:

• Access your data — all data is visible within the App at all times.

• Modify your data — change your workout preferences, supplement settings, and favorites at any time.

• Delete your data — remove individual items or all data as described in Section 5.

• Opt out of notifications — disable supplement reminders at any time in the App or through your device settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
