Wister is currently an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore, where he leads a research group focused on semiconductor-based quantum computing. Prior to this, he was a Senior Scientist at ETH Zurich, working on spin qubit readout in bilayer graphene quantum dots and developing quantum dots in planar germanium heterostructures. He began his research career at the University of New South Wales in Australia, where he completed his PhD and postdoctoral training in silicon-based qubits. His work has covered high-fidelity two-qubit gates in silicon quantum dots, noise characterization in silicon MOS devices, improved readout in bilayer graphene qubits, and efforts toward scalable quantum dot architectures.Â
