One of the main activities that the students have to carry out is to assess the current situation of the Centre and come up with possible ideas/solutions for improving community service delivery from there, and how the community and the organisation can make better use of the facility to the maximum benefit. — with Mutuari Mphk Kavari, Letitia Vatileni,Sem Matheus Hafunda and Linda Shikuyele .
We shall continue to do the small things that matter most in the lives of our children, especially those orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS and suffer daily from agonising poverty in the informal settlements of Katutura, Windhoek, Namibia.
We aim to keep the children strong and healthy so that they can continue and finish school and become responsible citizens of this country in the future. After all, they are our heirs.
For this reason, we held our Soup Kitchen Event at One-Nation location this afternoon, where over 70 children received a nutritious meal, provided by our organisation, Solidarity Community Care Organisation.
The Soup Kitchen Project, that runs at two sites in Windhoek, Namibia, is sponsored by Namib Mills.
You can also get involved by supporting the project with food items such as vegetables, fish, chicken and fruits.
Cash contributions can be made to Solidarity Community Care Organisation, Account Number 140906436, Branch Code 082372, Swift Code SBNMNANX, Standard Bank Namibia, Windhoek Branch.
