East Main District Mixed Use Development
Description
The East Main District Mixed Use Development is a proposed project to be located on three different sites in downtown Vacaville, totaling 5.26 acres. The full project would see the construction of 83 residential units and a variety of commercial and retail development.
This project is located within the Vacaville Downtown Specific Plan.

Current Status
In February 2020, then-city manager Jeremy Craig revealed that the housing developer for the project had pulled out. Craig then mentioned that since all the approvals and documents are already in place, it is now just a matter of marketing the property to the right developer.
This project was approved by Planning Commission.
Site One
Located at the corner of East Main Street and Wilson Street, this 1.37 acre site would see a new three-story building and three other buildings. The main three-story building would have 4,735 square feet of ground-level commercial/retail space and 14 apartment units on the upper two floors. The other three buildings would see 18 new condo units.
Site Two
Located at the southeast corner of Wilson Street and Catherine Street, this site would have three new buildings to house 20 new condo units.
Site Three
Located south of Bush Street between McClellan and Depot Street, this site would house 6,283 square feet of retail/commercial space between two different buildings. Six other buildings would house 31 new condos.
