Join Us for a Casual 5K/1Mi Run to Support the Honduras Baptist Dental Mission - Carter / Hart Team!
Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025
Time: 7:00 AM
Location: Rainbow Middle School Track, RBC, AL
We invite you to join the Sojourner Boxing Club for a fun and uplifting community run! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just getting started, everyone is welcome to participate in either the 5K or 1-mile route.
This is not an official race – it’s just a chance to gather as a community, get moving, and support a great cause. No entry fees, no timing chips – just good friends, good times, and running for His glory!
How You Can Participate
1) Run with us at Rainbow Middle School at 7:15 AM or join us from anywhere! Grab some friends and run your 5K or 1 mile wherever you are – share your run on social media, and tag us to be part of the fun.
2) Give directly to support the Honduras Baptist Dental Mission - Cart/Hart Team. Funds will go to support the team’s efforts in Honduras, providing much-needed dental care, medical supplies, and outreach to underserved communities.
Even if you can’t run, you can still help!
We ask that you please pray for the team’s safety and the lasting impact of the mission in Honduras.
No fees to participate - at all, and no obligation that you give.
Sojourner Boxing Club Stickers for those who complete the run at the RBC Location.
For more info on how to join the Boxing Club FB Group, visit the Sojourner Magazine Website. (Not mandatory to attend or participate in the event)
Let’s run together for His glory, one step at a time, with the goal of making His name great among the nations!
Join the March Ruck Challenge!
Club Members who complete the challenge will receive a Sojourner Boxing Club 3x3 Sticker.
There will be an opportunity to give directly to the Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief program to help support their ongoing missions efforts. For every mile you log, we recommend you give a designated amount directly to their organization.
Here's an example: You commit to give 10 cents per mile in the month of March to the Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief program. At the end of the month you have rucked 30 miles, so you donate $3 to support missions.
How it works: Find a backpack, and put something heavy in it (not too heavy). Then, start walking! (Yes, it is that easy) Each time you reach 1mi of distance, record it in your phone or on a notebook to keep track of your overall distance.
As you ruck, pray for those who are involved in ongoing disaster relief efforts, and share your progress on the Sojourner Boxing Club Facebook Group page. This way you can be encouraged by others who are a part of the challenge and track your progress.
Invite your friends to ruck! Train for His glory, one step at a time!
Grab your backpack, and start walking - today!
