Welcome to our team

Research at our laboratory aims at understanding phenomena at surfaces and interfaces, as well as creating novel functionalities through the design of these surfaces and interfaces. Our research activities include the chemical synthesis of new materials on substrate surfaces, the development of functional devices with precisely controlled thickness at the sub-nanometer or monolayer level, the evaluation of the electronic states of interfacial materials using spectroscopic techniques, and the development of experimental methods for investigating interface phenomena.
