Hi! I am a third-year PhD candidate in the Caram group at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UCLA. I obtained my integrated Master's (BS-MS) degree from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM) with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Physics.
My research lies at the intersection of physical chemistry, materials science, and photophysics. My current work focuses on elucidating the structural, electronic, and transport dynamics of molecular aggregates using spectroscopic tools. My research also extends into understanding the design and photophysics of shortwave infrared (SWIR) emitters, to tailor their properties for applications in biomedical imaging and chemical sensing. More details about my research interests, background, and previous work are available here.
In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing basketball, listening to music, and playing the piano.
