Dr. Sohail Khalid is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 15 years of experience in electrical and computer engineering. His expertise spans AI-driven applications in cybersecurity and healthcare, and microwave and millimeter-wave 5G and 6G systems for smart sensing and communication. He has authored over 40 research publications, contributed to a book chapter, and holds multiple patents for cutting-edge technologies.
Dr. Sohail received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University Technology PETRONAS (Malaysia), an M.Sc. in Wireless Networks from Queen Mary University of London (UK), and a B.Sc. in Telecom Engineering from COMSATS (Pakistan), where he graduated with distinction and was awarded a medal for academic excellence. He has a postgraduate certification in teaching methodology and professional ethics.
He has successfully secured competitive national and international research grants and supervised more than 50 undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. He holds multiple patents and has authored a book as well as multiple book chapters.
