Thesis: Compositional Dependability Analysis of Dynamic Systems with Uncertainty
This research has focused on developing an appropriate way of modelling the dynamic behaviour of systems and linking it to dynamic analysable models that can be used for safety analysis. I have developed methodologies based on probabilistic graphical models (e.g. Stochastic Petri Nets, Bayesian Networks) for reliability assessment of complex systems under uncertainty. The research contributes to the existing state of the art of decision making process in the dependability analysis domain. It also extends the HiP-HOPS project at the University of Hull.
