I AM SOFIA (ART NAME: VISIO QUEST), I AM AN ARTIST, POET AND CERTIFIED SOUND HEALER. 

IN MY WORK I AIM TO CREATE SPACES WHERE PEOPLE CAN CONNECT TO SELF, NATURE AND THE UNIVERSE, USING SOUND VIBRATION AND INNER WORK. I DO THAT BY WORKING WITH INTENTION, THROUGH VARIOUS FORMS SUCH AS SHARING CIRCLES, GUIDED MEDITATIONS BUT ALSO PERFORMANCE AND POETIC TEXT. 

I GRADUATED FROM UTRECHT UNIVERSITY RESEARCH MASTER’S PROGRAMME ‘ MEDIA, ART AND PERFORMANCE STUDIES’ WITH A THESIS FOCUSING ON FICTIONAL WORLDBUILDING AND MYTHOLOGICAL IMAGINATION. 

I HAVE PERFORMED, EXHIBITED AND PUBLISHED MY WORK ACROSS DIFFERENT ACADEMICAND CULTURAL SPACES INCLUDING: HARVARD UNIVERSITY, EVERY WOMAN BIENNIAL, SOFIA ART WEEK, GALLERIA GUBLIE, FABBRICA EUROPA, VAN GOGH MUSEUM, CENTRAAL MUSEUM, SEA FOUNDATION TILBURG, AND MORE...
