Sofia Hernnäs

I am a PhD Economist, working as a postdoctoral scholar at the Stockholm School of Economics. I am also affiliated with Uppsala Center for Labor Studies and Urban Lab, both at Uppsala University.

I have a PhD in Economics from Uppsala University, an MSc in Economics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics and a BSc Hons Economics from Newcastle University.

I work with labour economics from a micro and macro perspective. In particular, I am currently exploring how automation affects occupations and workers' income, employment and health. I am also interested in the consequences of different types of technological change on the occupational structure and inequality.
