Conrad Grebel University College

Boost! 2022 will be held in Waterloo, Ontario on the campus of Conrad Grebel University College, home of UW's Department of Music & Peace and Conflict Studies.

Grebel is a recently-renovated, friendly and welcoming space. Classes and activities will be held in the music department rooms, with access to the outdoor patio, and light-filled atrium.

The address is 140 Westmount Rd North, Waterloo, Ontario.

Waterloo is 100 km west of Toronto.

Accommodation is not included as part of tuition.

Budget-friendly accommodation on the UW campus is available.

Conrad Grebel University College has a few dormitory-style rooms. (Update these are full, but you may be still able to purchase a lunch plan.)

St. Pauls University College is right next to Grebel and has guest rooms. Rate is $105/night plus taxes and includes one parking space.

Some apartment-style accommodation is available in MacKenzie King Village on the U Waterloo Campus. Rate Info.

Getting Here

International Participants

Please let us know of your flight arrival details once you have booked your flight.

Be sure to check the current COVID-19 testing and proof of vaccination requirements for your travel. You must use the ArriveCAN app for entry into Canada.

Note you may also need a tourist visa. Check here for requirements.

Waterloo Regional International Airport (YKF) has flights from Calgary, Edmonton, Saint John NB, Charlottetown, Halifax, Vancouver & Victoria BC, Winnipeg, Ottawa & Montreal.

Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) will have more flight options and has a shuttle service to Waterloo.

VIARAIL Kitchener Station connects to the Grand River Transit LRT that stops at UW.

Parking at Grebel is through the HonkMobile app. Grebel is zone 9702.
