Flute Boost!

Boost! is a dynamic, four-day intensive for flute students age 12-18 who are looking to take their playing to the next level, in an energetic and supportive setting.

Hosted by Dr.Laurel Swinden, Boost! builds on each individual participants' previous musical experience, and presents them with new challenges and goals.

Students participate in daily classes including warmup and technique sessions,

tone development, and chamber music.

We foster a collaborative learning environment, emphasizing solid fundamentals, musicianship, and creativity. Each student receives two private lessons, daily group instruction, and coaching in a small chamber ensemble.

The week culminates with students performing in a final chamber music recital.
