Your Home, Your Server, Your Data

If you have a server with your private data (i.e. based on Raspberry Pi) and want to access it, you can use the Home app. The access to your server is also possible without having a domain registered (i.e. DynDNS) by using the built in function ownDNS. See the manual for more details about ownDNS function.

The permission to modify and read content of SD card is needed for the save a snapshot picture function.

Collection of Data / Erhebung von Daten

No data is collected. No data is transferred to anywhere except to your addressed home-server.

Es werden keine Daten aus dem Gerät erhoben. Es werden keine Daten weitergegeben außer zu Ihrem adressierten Home-Server .

HTTPS Access

If the server access shall be done protected (https) and a certificate with a CA signature is not available, a self signed certificate can be used. How this can be setup is described in application note HTTPS with self signed certificate on Android
