Will I keep the same rate of pay when I transition to Sodexo?
Yes, you will keep your current rate of pay.
Will I keep my same years of service when I transition to Sodexo?
Yes, your hire date will be recognized by Sodexo.
When will I be able to take paid time off with Sodexo?
Vacation leave begins accruing immediately per pay period from the beginning of your employment with Sodexo and you can use as it accrues. Accrued vacation leave can be carried over year to year to a maximum of 240 hours.
Sick leave begins accruing from the beginning of your employment with Sodexo and is available for use after 6 months of employment. Sick leave can be carried over each year to a maximum of 40 days or 320 hours.
To be eligible for Sodexo Sick/Vacation/Holidays, you must be considered a Full-Time employee. Sodexo defines Full-Time employees as those who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, over a 52-week period.
Holidays
All Full-Time and Part-Time frontline employees are eligible for seven (7) holidays per calendar year, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. You will also have a choice of (1) Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Juneteenth, President’s Day, or Veteran’s Day.
Will my schedule change?
Schedules may be adjusted based on business needs to accommodate service requirements for patients and customers. While we cannot guarantee existing schedules or any preferences you may have, we will make accommodation where possible.
How will I be paid?
Sodexo’s payroll week begins on Friday and ends on Thursday. You will be paid bi-weekly. You will be given information on how to register for direct deposit and accessing your personal information on SodexoLink., our employee website. Your first Sodexo paycheck will be delivered to your Sodexo manager on (Insert Date).

Will there be a probationary period with Sodexo?
o No. Sodexo does not have probationary periods.
Will I be evaluated for a pay increase?
Sodexo evaluates employees annually and uses a merit or pay-for-performance process to determine annual increases.
Will my uniforms change?
No, you will continue to wear the same uniforms you currently wear.
Where will I clock in when I start working for Sodexo?
There will be Sodexo Kronos timeclocks located in your department. Your manager will explain that process in further detail.
What benefits are offered to Sodexo employees?

Tuition Reimbursement: To qualify for Sodexo’s tuition reimbursement program, you must be considered a Full-Time employee and have at least one year of active service with Sodexo. Eligibility for class approval is based on the course being applicable to your Sodexo position/career. Requests must be submitted prior to course registration. Approval will be determined and communicated to the employee.
When do my Sodexo benefits start?
Your selected Sodexo Benefits will begin May 1, 2025, provided you meet eligibility requirements and sign up for the benefits within 30 days. Within 1-3 weeks of your hire date, you will receive a Sodexo Benefits enrollment packet with your offerings delivered to your home address on file via US Mail. However, you can call the benefits department at 1-855-668-5040 or visit www.sodexobenefitscenter.com once you receive your Sodexo employee ID.
Benefits will have an effective date of May 1, 2025 – (30-day enrollment window) regardless of your enrollment date. It is very important you enroll as soon as possible as you will be responsible for all premium costs backdating to May 1, 2025.
