Southern Delaware Roller Derby (SDRD) is an all-inclusive, flattrack roller derby league based in Dover, Delaware. Founded in 2011 with the intention of bringing the sport of roller derby to Southern Delaware, SDRD also provided an alternative form of entertainment for our community. The league is comprised of strong, like-minded athletes who share a goal of being positive role models for the community and who enjoy personal growth through the sport of roller derby. Additionally, the league gives back to the community through regular involvement with local charities and organizations.

Every season it costs SDRD approximately $21,500 to cover expenses such as rink rental, insurance, EMT fees, uniforms, printing promotional materials, travel fees, event specific supplies and costs, in addition to our normal operational expenses. We rely on fundraisers and sponsorships to help keep us rolling throughout the year. We offer several different sponsorship options, available on an individual home bout basis, or for the entire home bout season. We also welcome donations of tangible goods or gift certificates for us to use in silent auctions or as raffle prizes at bouts, fundraisers, and other events.
