A message from our priest:
By the Grace and of Lord Jesus Christ, who brings all things into being and causes all things to be sustained, our Mission is able to offer an extension of the God-protected ministry of our Hierarch, His Grace Kyr +IRINEJ here in the Appalachian Foothills, serving the Divine Liturgy, providing the Sacraments to the faithful, and offering catechism to those who seek the Light of Truth. Our Mission has seen rapid, sustained growth, which, although a clear indicator that our humble work is priving fruitful, requires us to expand our operation in order to accommodate these souls. Our current worship space is provided to us as a generous donation Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. We are quickly advancing towards maximum capacity. The frequency of Divine Liturgy has increased. More faithful are coming, and we do not have the resources to provide for them.Â
It is with this in mind that we humbly ask any and all God-loving people, first and foremost our own community, to prayerfully consider setting aside a donation each month to help support our Mission, if they are able. We welcome any and all donations, but the security of a recurring pledge allows us to begin building a budget and start looking towards the future while being able to rest assured that our Mission's month-to-month financial obligations are met. All of the donations for the time being go to our general fund to pay operating expenses. Once we are able to meet this milestone, we can begin looking at our next priority: finding a permanent home for our Mission.
I humbly ask that you forgive my audacity to make such a request, and I pray that the Lord God will bless each an every one of you bountifully for your charity. At the very least, I ask that you, reader, may pray for us, our Mission, our Hierarch, and all of us who are in need of God's mercy.
May the Holy Trinity bless and protect all of you!
The least among priests and monastics,
+Fr. Sava
