After leaving the County Council in May 2025, I enrolled as a volunteer for Oxfam in their book and music shop.   I am also still engaged with Friends of Garendon Park to ensure the Registered Park and Gardens of Garendon are restored according to the planning agreement with Charnwood Borough. 

Pictured above is a frieze on the Triumphal Arch showing the metamorphosis of Actaeon.  The Arch is modeled on the Arch of Titan in Rome and is one of several listed monuments on this early acrcadian landscape.
