Sociverse ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Sociverse mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this privacy policy carefully.

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
Name - This is persisted to identify user by his/her/they/them/theirs name.
Email address - This is optional and intended to provide user a signup and login in one click.
Phone number - This is optional and intended to provide user a seamless login. This is stored in encyrpted form at our database server hosted on AWS.
Location data - We collect this info with user's consent to localize the experience for a user.
1.2 Sensitive Data
We may collect sensitive data, including but not limited to:
Image information (photos) - This is optional and user can chose to upload profile picture. Once, user uploads the profile picture, that will be visible to anyone visiting to user's profile otherwise a dummy profile avatar will be visible.
Note : All the data collected via app are sent to "Sociverse" backend server hosted on domain https://api.sociverse.in. All the data are securely stored in "Sociverse" database hosted on AWS in encrypted form. All the data transmitted from app to "Sociverse" backend server is secured and transferred via https protocol.
2.1. Registration Information: When you create an EventConnect account, we collect information such as your name, email address, mobile number and, optionally, a profile picture.
2.2. Event Data: We collect information about the events you create, attend, or show interest in, including event details, RSVPs, and interactions with event organizers and other attendees.
2.3. Location Data: With your consent, we may collect your location information to provide you with event recommendations and to show you events in your vicinity.
2.4. User Content: Any content you post, including photos, comments, and reviews, will be stored on our servers.
2.5. Personalization: We use your data to provide personalized event recommendations, event updates, and user connections.
2.6. Event Management: Your information is used to facilitate event creation, RSVPs, and event communication.
2.7. Account Security: We use your data to secure your account and protect against unauthorized access.

3.1. Event Data: Event details, including event name, location, date, and attendees' names, may be visible to other users attending the same event.

Sociverse is not intended for users under the age of 13. We don't allow signup to the application for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under this age.
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
