With another successful workshop under our belts, we thank you all for your contributions, especially Gerry for hosting us and his fabulous assistant Cho who did an outstanding job of making sure things ran smoothly. We do, of course, extend our thanks as always to our supporters, ASSTA, COEDL, and Griffith University.

Despite the challenges of the last few years, we have been able to regroup and continue growing the community of researchers undertaking work on sociophonetic properties of varieties of English spoken in Australia to share findings, to discuss methodological issues, and to debate the theoretical implications of their work.

With 2022's successful workshop behind us, we look forward to welcoming you back to the ol' Ship Inn in July 2024 - save the date (roughly)!
