The University of Peloponnese and the University of Rzeszów are pleased to invite scholars, researchers, and professionals to participate (online or in-person) in the international conference “Society in Change: Historical, Educational, and Social Perspective” The event will take place on 27-28 June 2025 in Corinth, Greece, and aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on the transformations shaping our societies from historical, educational, and social perspectives.

Conference Themes:

We welcome submissions addressing, but not limited to, the following topics:

🔹 Historical Perspectives on Societal Change

• Political and economic transformations through history

• Social movements and their impact on policy and culture

• The role of migration and mobility in shaping societies

• Media and propaganda in historical context
  
  

🔹 Educational Transformations in a Changing World

• Innovations in teaching and learning methodologies

• The digitalization of education and its impact on students and teachers

• Educational policies and reforms in historical and contemporary perspectives

• The role of education in fostering social inclusion and diversity
  
  

🔹 Social Challenges and Adaptations

• The impact of globalization and digitalization on social structures

• Changing family dynamics and intergenerational relations

• Social inequalities and responses to contemporary crises

• The role of media and communication in shaping public discourse

Important Dates

📌 Deadline for submission of abstracts: 15 April 2025  - registration is closed
📌 Conference dates: 27-28 June 2025

The organizers do not charge a conference fee, nor do they provide reimbursement for travel or accommodation expenses.

Publication Opportunities

Selected papers will be published into a UR Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences journal (www.journalofhumanitiesandsocialsciences.com), Optimum. Economic Studies ( https://optimum.uwb.edu.pl/index.php/osj) into a scientific monograph published in academic publishing office.

All accepted abstracts will be published into an on-line Conference Book of Abstracts with E-ISBN number.
