Welcome to SocietyMitra. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SocietyMitra mobile application, website, and related services (“Platform”, “App”, “Services”) operated by SocietyMitra (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By downloading, registering, accessing, or using SocietyMitra, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under Indian law to use the Services.
By using the App, you represent that:
the information provided by you is accurate and complete;
you will comply with applicable laws and regulations;
you are authorized to represent your housing society, apartment, resident welfare association (RWA), or organization where applicable.
SocietyMitra is a community and society management application designed to help residential societies manage:
resident communication,
maintenance billing,
notices and announcements,
complaints/tickets,
visitor management,
payments,
events,
documents,
and related society management activities.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice.
To access certain features, users may be required to create an account.
You agree to:
provide accurate and updated information;
maintain confidentiality of login credentials;
accept responsibility for all activities under your account;
immediately notify us of unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false, misleading, or unauthorized information.
You agree not to:
violate any applicable law;
post false, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content;
impersonate another person or entity;
attempt unauthorized access to the App or servers;
distribute malware, spam, or harmful code;
interfere with operation or security of the Platform.
SocietyMitra reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts violating these Terms.
If SocietyMitra provides paid services or payment collection features:
all charges shall be displayed before payment;
users are responsible for accurate payment details;
payments processed through third-party gateways are subject to their terms;
SocietyMitra is not liable for failures caused by banks or payment providers.
Unless otherwise stated:
fees paid are non-refundable;
applicable taxes including GST may apply.
Users may upload notices, documents, maintenance records, complaints, images, and other content (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your content. However, by uploading content, you grant SocietyMitra a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
store,
host,
process,
display,
and use such content solely for providing Services.
You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of uploaded content.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy of SocietyMitra.
We may collect:
personal information,
device information,
payment-related data,
usage analytics,
communication records.
Data shall be handled in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws.
The App may integrate with third-party services including:
payment gateways,
SMS/email providers,
cloud hosting,
maps,
analytics providers.
SocietyMitra is not responsible for third-party services, content, or outages.
All rights related to:
app design,
logo,
software,
trademarks,
content,
and technology
are owned by SocietyMitra or its licensors.
Users may not:
copy,
reverse engineer,
distribute,
modify,
or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:
SocietyMitra shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages;
we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation;
we are not responsible for society disputes, resident conflicts, or decisions taken by society management.
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocietyMitra, its directors, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
your use of the App;
violation of these Terms;
infringement of rights of any third party.
We reserve the right to:
suspend or terminate accounts;
remove content;
restrict access to Services
without prior notice if users violate these Terms or applicable laws.
Users may stop using the Services at any time.

Please include your account details and the reason for your request. We will process your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We may revise these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted within the App or website. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
