In early July, we visited Loviisa to attend "The King Arrives to Loviisa", an annual event commemorating King Adolf Frederick's visit to Degerby (now Loviisa) when he was travelling to inspect Svartholm's fortification works in 1752. During this event, the public had an opportunity to hear the King speak and see musketeers perform a drill as well as meet noble ladies and other people from the 18th century.
This event was organized by Loviisan Kaupungin Hywät Asukkaat.
