Bonafide Kayaks and Big Adventures Join Forces in Merger

Fletcher, NC – October 31, 2019

Native Watercraft and Liquidlogic Kayaks, together with Bonafide Kayaks, announced a merger of their businesses. Bonafide Kayaks founder Luther Cifers will serve the combined business as President.

Mr. Points has included me in the design process of the packaging of the lures. My ideas were helpful and a small part of the artist's work!

Evilution Lures are sold at Tackle Warehouse and in multiple tackle shops as well as online!

Fun Fact:

Earlier in the year, I negotiated and networked both Trapper Tackle and Evilution Lures to build a partnership placing Trapper hooks in the Evilution Lures Series Spinnerbaits.

This fall the Spinnerbaits were outfitted with the innovative hooks. The best part was when during Trapper's product release the company SOLD OUT of the new products. With both companies blasting new product, the end result led to a SOLD OUT status update minutes after being released as a partnered product.

There is a lure named after me called "The Jeneral" and is a favorite among anglers.

Rock-N-Reel has a solid team that I have built to maintain a solid social presence.

In 2019, negotiations between myself, Trapper Tackle, and Rock-N-Reel Custom Lures lead to a partnership between the two companies where Mr. Sylvester provided custom lures featuring Trapper's Innovative Hooks.

The Beginning of a Line Cutting Movement

We finally met up with the owner of Line Cutterz, Vance Zahorski at iCast! Vance has taken the fishing community by storm. We've had a great relationship after networking on Twitter where our families share a fishy relationship and continue to support one another's professional endeavors!

Vance grew up fishing in Chetek, Wisconsin off of a dock on Prairie Lake. He can vividly remember catching panfish with his grandfather from as young as four years old. Since then, fishing has been the focus of his whole life, and like the rest of us, it’s more than just a hobby… it’s a lifestyle.

Over the years, he expanded from Prairie Lake onto other freshwater fisheries and even some saltwater fisheries. Through this expansion, he was forced to try new baits and thus, started using heavier line to adapt to the conditions and fish he was targeting.

Vance, like many of us, used the tried and true method of biting his line to cut tag ends or swap baits… until he chipped his tooth twice while trying to bite his line. The rest is history!

The YakAttack Regional Team is a very select group of well-respected kayak anglers and contributing members to the kayak fishing community.

The team is essential to inspiring anglers and promoting the YakAttack brand all over the world. Each member of the YakAttack Team will increase brand awareness by delivering exposure of the YakAttack brand within their sphere of influence as well as helping to drive sales to local dealers.

As a team member, you enter in to a mutually beneficial relationship with an innovative, grassroots, American paddle sports accessory manufacturer.

  • Participation in the Facebook group, Rigging the Dream - YakAttack Kayak Rigging. Help with rigging solutions and provide input. Post pictures of recent rigging projects that involved YakAttack products.
  • Ensuring YakAttack visibility and presence at kayak fishing related events. These include tournaments, demo days, and other kayak/fishing related events. All relevant events should be funneled up to the appropriate Regional Director for review on the appropriate exposure.
  • Be empowered to support the sport of kayak fishing and exemplify the highest standards by using and showcasing YakAttack products.
