Hi, my name is Rachael and I'm happy to be able to serve as part of the Social Justice Association's design team! Although I was born and raised in the States, I've been attending school here in Korea for the past two years and am a current sophomore. As someone who believes strongly in giving back to their community, I've been doing my best to use my passions for my passions in service. For instance, I've volunteered to read/write books for children (through a program called word sprouts), make music and busk for elderly nursing homes (the school's RCY orchestra), explore design and photography to spread awareness (CAMY), and many more! Apart from service, as a humanities lover, I'm also currently involved in MUN, Speech, and Debate. With SJA, I hope to raise awareness on various social issues and advocate for social equality! I hope that my lovely team and I will be able to interest you into understanding, eventually advocating for these passions and contributing what we can as students and as part of SJA!
