Privacy Policy for Social Blaster

This Privacy Policy describes how Social Blaster ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android application available on the Google Play Store.
By using Social Blaster, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data You Provide
API Key: When you register your device, you may enter or scan an API key. This is used only to link your device to your account and to receive campaign tasks.
Device name: Optional name you give your device for identification.
1.2 Data Collected Automatically
Device information: Device model, manufacturer, Android version, and a unique device identifier. This is used for device registration and to deliver campaign tasks to your device.
FCM Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can send you push notifications (campaign tasks). This is required for the app to function.
Network: The app uses internet to communicate with our servers and to load campaign content (e.g. images, links).
1.3 Permissions and Their Use
Notifications: To receive campaign task alerts and show them on your device.
Notification listener (optional): If you enable it, the app can read only its own notifications (from Social Blaster) to open campaign details when you tap a notification. We do not read notifications from other apps.
Camera: Used only when you choose to scan a QR code to add your API key. We do not store or upload photos or video.
Internet & network state: To sync with our servers and download campaign content.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
Register your device with our backend so you can receive campaign tasks.
Send you push notifications (campaign tasks) via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Store campaign data locally on your device (e.g. task instructions, links, media) so you can complete tasks.
Improve app stability and fix issues (e.g. error logs if something fails).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling unrelated to the app.
3. Data Storage and Security
On your device: Campaign data (instructions, links, captions) is stored locally using the app’s private storage (Room database and app-specific preferences). This data stays on your device unless you uninstall the app or clear app data.
On our servers: Device identifier, FCM token, API key association, and campaign assignment status are stored on our backend (e.g. mcpserver.bol7.com) to deliver and track campaign tasks.
We use standard security practices (HTTPS, secure storage) to protect data in transit and on our servers.
4. Third-Party Services
Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging): Used to deliver push notifications. Google’s privacy policy applies to their processing: Firebase Privacy.
Our backend: Your device and campaign data is sent to our servers to assign and track tasks. We control this infrastructure.
We do not share your data with other third parties for their marketing or advertising.
5. Data Retention
On device: Stored campaign data remains until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
On servers: We retain device registration and campaign assignment data as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business/legal purposes. You can request deletion by contacting us.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can:
Uninstall the app at any time; local data will be removed.
Revoke notification listener in device settings if you no longer want the app to read its own notifications.
Revoke notification permission in app/device settings to stop receiving push notifications (this may limit app functionality).
Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your data stored on our servers.
Depending on your region, you may have additional rights (e.g. under GDPR or similar laws). Contact us to exercise them.
7. Children’s Privacy
Social Blaster is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app or on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
