School Social Worker
Hello everyone! I am hoping you all know me but for those that do not, I am your school social worker! I have worked as a school social worker for seven years now and was given the opportunity to join the wonderful faculty and staff at the Berlin Brothersvalley School District in 2020. I provide support to students across the district in grades K-12. My role as a school social worker differs from student to student in order to provide the appropriate support as it relates to their concerns. I meet with students to help provide mental health support, guidance with social skills, and support with peer and family relationships. I work with families to gather community resources to help with financial and housing concerns as well as more intensive counseling services. I also serve on the Student Assistance Programs (SAP) in each building and I am now the homeless liaison and foster care point of contact for the district as well.
I am so excited to be back in the school building this year and I'm able to see some smiling faces of students and staff! It is my hope that this website will provide valuable resources to continue support for students, parents, and families as we adapt to our new routines at school and while in the community.
Below you will find links to pages that include resources for parents and for students. I will be adding new resources and links periodically to these pages in order to share up-to-date information and supports.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any concerns!
