Potential GRADUATE Students

If you are interested in research on topics such as social relationships, gender attitudes, poverty, stigma, social support, discrimination, or health outcomes you may want to consider becoming a graduate assistant in my lab. As a member of my lab, you will typically begin collaborating with an ongoing research project and as you advance through the MS Psychology program you will have opportunities to develop your own independent lines of research. It is advantageous for applicants to have previous research experience; however it is not necessary to have research experience on any particular topic. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at kmickel1@asu.edu.

Potential UNDERGRADUATE Research Assistants

Becoming a research assistant could be of interest to you if you want to learn more about social psychological research or are thinking about going to graduate school. Some of the potential responsibilities in the lab include conducting interviews, gathering articles, and attending lab meetings. I review applications for undergraduate research assistants each semester for fall, spring, and summer assistants. If interested, please complete the application below and return to me.
