This policy describes how Status Vault(“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use our mobile application.
By using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Disclaimer :
WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. This app is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by WhatsApp, Meta, or any other messaging service. You are solely responsible for how you use media you access or save with the app, including respect for others’ rights and applicable laws.
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers through the app for our own database.
To operate and improve the app, third-party SDKs integrated in the app may automatically process certain technical and device-related data, including:
Advertising ID (GAID) and related data for advertising and measurement (via Google Mobile Ads / AdMob).
Analytics data such as app opens, screens, and usage patterns (via Firebase Analytics).
Diagnostics and crash data (via Firebase Crashlytics) to find and fix bugs.
General device and log information (e.g. device model, OS version, app version, timestamps) as part of analytics, ads, or crash reporting.
We use this information to provide the service, show ads, understand how the app is used, and improve stability. How Google and other providers use data is governed by their own policies (see links below).
Local media on your device: The app needs access to photos, videos, and/or audio on your device so it can display and help you save status-style media stored in accessible folders. This processing happens on your device to provide app features. We do not operate a backend that uploads your gallery or status files to our servers for storage as part of the core app behavior described here; if that ever changes, we will update this policy.
The app uses services that have their own privacy policies:
We encourage you to read those policies. You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising ID in your Android device settings (Google settings / Ads).
If an error occurs, crash reporting tools may collect log-related information (for example device type, OS version, app configuration, and time of the event) to diagnose the problem.
The app is not a web browser. Some third-party components may use similar technologies as part of analytics or ads. Your choices for ads and identifiers are described above and in Google’s documentation.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:
To facilitate our Service;
To provide the Service on our behalf;
To perform Service-related services; or
To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
We rely on industry-standard practices through established providers (e.g. Google). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
The app may open links (for example privacy policy, Play Store, or support). Those sites are operated by third parties; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
(If you offer the app in the EU/UK, you may add a line that parents can contact you regarding children’s data—but the above aligns with common COPPA framing.)
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
If you use the app from outside your home country, data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, including the United States, subject to their policies and applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
