Poster Presentations: Formatting Guidelines
The poster boards are 6 ft tall x 3 ft wide (see image below for a double board). Posters can be landscape or portrait, but must be printed to fit within these dimensions; we recommend a maximum size of A0 portrait or A1 landscape. We also suggest ensuring that figures and text are readable from at least 6 feet.
Note: Pushpins are provided and will be used to affix posters to the boards. Glue, tape, and other adhesives should not be used for the poster boards.
Timing of Poster Sessions
There will be two poster sessions:
Poster Session A, on 7th December from 16:30-18:00
Poster Session B, on 8th December from 16:00-17:30
Please consult the conference programme to find out which session you are in and browse Abstracts for each session. All posters will be assigned a Board Number, which will indicate where to post your poster: all boards will be labelled with their number.
Poster sessions will take place in St John's Divinity School, Central Hall. You will be able to put your posters up on the poster boards from the start of the day you are presenting, in preparation for the afternoon sessions, although the boards will be put to the side of the Hall until after lunch. You will be expected to remove your poster and take it home with you at the end of your poster session.

Try to maximise visuals such as images or graphs and be concise with text.
Using bullet or numbered points can be an effective way to concisely convey a series of text.
