Join the Queer community, in the historic Borq and Arcomo Circle neighborhoods to experience the Pride 2022 Parade in Socavija! More than 200 contingents consisting of floats, vehicles, marchers, and entertainment will traverse the route in support of our community. The Family Area will again be located at Haltari Park, and for a third year there will be a Block Party occurring adjacent to the Parade route with a beverage garden and entertainment. Inspire and be inspired by the diversity of what makes the Queer community…us.

• The Parade starts at Borq Circle and finishes at Arcomo Circle, all along O Avenue

• Two announcement stands available with sign language interpreters, Non-Human-Sapient translators, and wheelchair accessibility.

CONTINGENTS

Each year over 200 diverse organizations participate in the Pride Parade as contingents. Organizations may choose to march, decorate an automobile, and/or a float to show off their Pride.

Contingent Registration

Secure your spot to participate in one of the DSA’s most loved parades. Make a statement, show your support, be out and proud as you march along the parade route. Participants are encouraged to be creative when decking out their contingent.

SPECTATOR ACTIVITIES

Review & Announcement Stands

The judges review stand is located at 10th and O Avenue and will feature entertainment beginning at 3:30pm until MC’s Barry Galistill and Ramone Pendleton welcome the parade along with a special panel of guest judges.

Bleacher seats are available at the Review Stand along with an ADA area for wheelchairs and sign language interpreters.

An announcement stand is located at 18th Street and O Avenue. The announcement stand features DJ’s Sasha Harmone and Jerard Sync along with MC Carlotta Yusevov. DJ’s starts at 3:30pm.

Bleacher Seating

Socavija Pride offers bleacher seating to enhance your parade viewing experience. Avoid the crowds and watch the Socavija Pride Parade from the comfort of bleacher seats.

Family Area

In partnership with All Families, families can enjoy the parade along the parade route at Haltari Park.
