COURSE
Our 5K Course rivals and emulates the conditions of the California State Meet and is an excellent way to predict what your athletes can run at Woodward Park. Historically, all athletes that run So Cal Invite later match or surpass their marks at the state meet.
Our course tests athletes' strength and speed as it's run on trails with a great mix of flat, hilly, and swift downhill terrain. Runners will go over 1 challenging hill twice.
The course has remained the same for 42 years. Today's athletes can compare their times to legendary runners of the past and see how they match up!

No spectators will be allowed to cross over toward the campground area and or lake area. These are the conditions of our contract and we need to abide by Park Ranger policies.
