Conference description

The 14th Southern California Flow Physics Symposium (So Cal Fluids XIV) will be held virtually on Saturday, April 10 2021.

This conference aims to bring together researchers from universities throughout Southern California, working in all areas of fluid dynamics, for a one-day exchange of ideas in an informal and collaborative atmosphere.

To promote education and exposure, talks are invited from graduate students and postdocs, as well as from undergraduates who have been pursuing research. Faculty and other undergraduate students are highly encouraged to attend. All universities in Southern California are welcome to participate.

Presentations

Contributed talks are limited to 10 minutes with 2 additional minutes for discussion. This is followed by 1 minute for transition to the next paper and introduction of the next speaker.

Abstract submission: Deadline 5 pm PT, March 19, 2021

The required format for the abstract is a single page (letter-size or A4) including all authors and affiliations, figures and references. The abstracts will be compiled and distributed to participants. The file must be uploaded in .pdf form (maximum 10MB). Submit abstract by clicking the button below.


Registration: Deadline 5 pm PT, April 8, 2021

Registration including an email address is required for all attendees. Registered participants will be emailed links for all online sessions.
