WELCOME

Welcome to Sobriety First ala Zoom. This is a one-hour Open Discussion meeting. We feature one Person who shares their Experience Strength & Hope for approximately 10 minutes with discussion afterward.

We ask those that speak afterwards to please limit your comments to 3 minutes and to put your electronics on mute when not sharing. The co-host will remind you when you have been speaking for 3 minutes.

In order to be recognized to speak, please use the “Chat” function of Zoom at the bottom of the screen and type in the word "Share". The moderator will call on you.

Is there anyone new to AA or new to this meeting?

IV. Our business meeting is the 3rd Tuesday of the Month @ 9:30. All are welcome.

After the Speaker shares, have them pick a topic & proceed to call on people as they sign up via "Chat".

Also, "We ask that when you share, please avoid cross talk, in other words, do not give advice to someone who has just shared and avoid directly respond to a previous share. We also ask that you please refrain from profanity because it can be hurtful and disrespectful to others. Thank you."

At Close of meeting:

Ask: "If you are available to be a temporary sponsor please raise your virtual or literal hand."
