  Your privacy and safety are our priorities. SoberXP is a simulation and estimation tool where you manage a virtual

  "Road Guardian" avatar., with a gamin RPG style BAC tracker. This policy explains how we handle data within this simulation to ensure transparency and

  safety.

  1. No Personal Data Collection (Avatar Storage)

  SoberXP does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All information entered to

  configure your simulation avatar (avatar name, weight, height, age, gender) is stored locally on your device in a

  private, secure SQLite database. We have no access to your avatar's profile or logs.

  2. Avatar Stats & Alcohol Simulation

  The app processes data related to alcohol consumption and physical attributes to estimate the Blood Alcohol Content

  (BAC) of your virtual avatar, with various personalization options. This simulation data:

   * Never leaves your device.

   * Is not shared with third parties or advertisers.

   * Can be deleted at any time by clearing the app's cache or using the "Factory reset" option.

  3. Third-Party Services (Ads)

To support the free version, SoberXP uses third-party ads (Google AdMob). These services may collect data such as your device's Advertising ID to show relevant ads. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), a consent form (UMP) is provided to manage your privacy preferences in accordance with GDPR. These third parties have their own policies:

The PRO version has no ads and shares no data with AdMob.

  4. In-App Purchases & Billing (Pro Version)

  If you choose to upgrade to SoberXP Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by the Google Play Store or Apple App

  Store. We do not collect or store your billing information. The stores provide us only with an anonymous "purchase

  token" to unlock your premium features.

  5. Device Permissions

  SoberXP may request the following permissions to function:

   * Storage/Filesystem: To export your avatar's drink history as a CSV file.

   * Haptics/Vibration: To provide alerts when the avatar's estimated BAC exceeds the configured limit.

  6. Children’s Privacy

  SoberXP is strictly intended for individuals of legal drinking age in their respective jurisdictions. We do not

  knowingly collect information from children. If an underage user has entered data locally, we encourage the immediate

  deletion of the application.

  7. Limitation of Liability (Simulation Disclaimer)

  SoberXP is a simulation tool only. Real-world alcohol metabolism varies significantly based on food, health, and

  individual biology.

   * NEVER rely on this simulation to decide if a real person is fit to drive.

   * The status "Below Legal Limit" is a mathematical estimate for the avatar and is NOT a real-world authorization to

     drive.

   * By using this app, you agree that the developer is not liable for any real-world legal, physical, or safety

     consequences resulting from your decisions.

  8. Stability & Error Reporting (Sentry)

To ensure the best experience and fix technical bugs, SoberXP uses Sentry, a third-party error monitoring service. In the event of an app crash or technical error, purely technical information (device model, Android version, and error logs) is sent anonymously to Sentry. No personal data (name, weight, height, or drink history) is ever included in these reports. We do not use any other analytics tools like Google Analytics or tracking pixels to monitor your personal behavior.

 9. Data Deletion

  SoberXP stores all data locally on your device. To delete all your data, simply use the differents options within the app

11. Backup and Restore (Pro Feature)

If you use the manual backup feature (SXP-Shield), a file containing your profile and history is generated locally on your device. This file is encrypted and remains entirely under your control. You choose where to store it (local folder, personal cloud, or email). We never have access to this backup file.
