Star Archery (Southern Tennessee Archery Range) is an archery club promoting target archery and 3D archery.
The club will be built out over the next year or so starting with a 3D range.
3D Archery is a blast! Get outside and get some exercise while honing your archery skills. This style of archery is great for hunters and for target archers. You will get the opportunity to shoot various foam targets with scoring rings.
Our first Tennessee ASA Qualifier was held in April 2025.
The range has 20 lanes with targets placed at varied distances. It is set up for events only at this time.
There are distances set up appropriately for all ages and bow types.
Get outside and enjoy nature on our 26 acre range.

Directions:
Search for Star Archery on Google Maps or use the coordinates in the image on the left. Searching for the address will take you to the wrong location.
From the 64 Bypass exit on I65 (Exit 14), head West toward Pulaski for about 1 mile. Turn Left (South) onto Pisgah Ridge Road. After about 1 mile, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the smaller road to the left and turn onto Indian Creek Road. At the next fork, take the left onto Young Road (also known as Young Hollow Road). The property will be on the left.
If your GPS says to take Bunker Hill Road, that is OK, but Young Road is narrow and curvy. Pisgah Ridge Road is safer and easier to navigate.
I-65 to Pisgah Road - Then Indian Creek Road to Young Road

Looking for a fun outdoor target archery event?
STAR Archery is hosting an event for The Shoot Out Series on Saturday, May 17.
Because this is a fun league - if you want to just pick what distance you're comfortable with and shoot, it's fine!
We require no membership in any organization to participate in this event.
The standard distances are in the image, below.
Register at: https://bowscore.com/tournaments/2025-outdoor-star-archery-may-17-2025#/register
For more information, check out their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/competitiveyoutharcheryassociation/
This tournament consists of 30 arrows shot at a single distance for a maximum score of 300 points.
You can pick from the following distances, 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 meters. All ages and bow types are welcome (minus crossbow).
We will only have one line time at 9am unless additional times are necessary to support multiple distances.
There will be a maximum of 24 archers per line time.
If the 9am time slot fills up, we will make an accommodation to add another line time.
Archers will have access to an 80-cm single spot for compound and Olympic recurve archers, while barebow archers will use a 122cm target.
This tournament will be a "pick your distance" type of tournament. This will provide newer archers the ability to increase their comfort level and experience while participating in an outdoor target tournament. Seasoned archers can build upon their experience with the longer distances.
Lane assignments and targets will be assigned based on class, division and distance requested. No requests for lanes or positions will be allowed in order to accommodate all distance requests. Once lane assignments have been made, no changes will be allowed unless there are extenuating circumstances.
All participants must follow standard Archery Dress Code. This event is open to all archers who have their own equipment or access to equipment.
There will be no onsite registration.
Cash and Venmo accepted onsite.
