I'm a PE educator, Sports Science graduate, and the founder of So Class. I'm dyslexic, and growing up I knew exactly how it felt to sit in a classroom and feel like the teaching just wasn't clicking, not because I wasn't trying, but because the way things were being explained didn't work for how my brain processes information.
That experience never left me, and it shapes everything about the way I teach. So Class was built because every student deserves a tutor who genuinely gets it, the subject, the pressure, and what it feels like when traditional teaching doesn't quite land.
So Class was created by a specialist PE educator with over ten years of experience teaching across primary, secondary, and further education. Having worked with hundreds of students at every stage of their PE journey — from nervous Year 10s tackling their first mock to sixth formers preparing for A-Level exams — So Class was built around one simple idea: every student deserves teaching that actually works for them.
Sessions at So Class are structured, focused, and tailored to you. Whether you're working through the theory components of GCSE PE, preparing for A-Level coursework, or building confidence with BTEC Sport, every session is planned around your exam board, your syllabus, and where you need the most support.
So Class is also proud to offer neurodivergent-friendly tutoring — sessions are designed to be clear, calm, and adaptable, so every student can access the support they need without feeling overwhelmed.
As a full-time lecturer and experienced educator, the teaching behind So Class is grounded in real classroom experience and up-to-date subject knowledge. With a degree in Sports Science specialising in Teaching and Coaching, Qualified Teacher Status in PE, and a current qualification in supporting students with specific learning difficulties, every session is underpinned by genuine expertise — not just enthusiasm.
As a dyslexic educator, I also understand first-hand how it feels when traditional teaching approaches don't quite click. That lived experience shapes the way So Class sessions are designed — accessible, flexible, and genuinely supportive for every type of learner.
Sessions cover AQA, Edexcel and OCR specifications, and tutoring is available online and in person across Hertfordshire, making it easy to fit around school, college, and family life.
