Mathematics of Connections: Focusing on Combinatorics and Topology

The Department of Mathematics Education at Seoul National University hosted the fifth edition of "SNU international symposium on Mathematics Education" on November 8th, 2025. The symposium featured the combinatorics and topology, with emphasis on their role of "connections" interpreted in a broad sense. The symposium brought together experts in combinatorics and topology and foster insightful discussions and academic exchange. To encourage wide participation, the talks were designed to be highly accessible, making the event an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students, graduate students, and prospective teachers.
