This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Snug Bug: Smart Baby Sleep (referred to as "the Application" or "App") for mobile devices.
The Application functions as a baby cry detection monitor that allows users to play local audio files to assist with infant sleep.
We believe in absolute data privacy. Snug Bug: Smart Baby Sleep does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information, user data, or files. Everything the App needs to function happens entirely on your local device.
To provide its core features, the Application requires specific device permissions. Here is exactly how that data is handled:
Microphone / Audio Recording: The App accesses the device microphone to analyze sounds for the sole purpose of detecting a baby's cry. Audio processing is executed completely on-device in real-time. No audio snippets, voice recordings, or sound diagnostics are ever recorded, saved to storage, or transmitted over the internet.
Storage Access / Media Library: The App requests access to read your device's local storage solely to allow you to select and play your own MP3 audio files within the App. The App does not modify, delete, or upload your files.
Because the Application does not collect any user data, no data is ever shared with, sold to, or tracked by third parties.
The Application is designed to be used by parents and adult caregivers. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
