Atomic-layer-resolved in-situ of domain-wall dynaimcs
Our in-situ platform combines UHV sputtering with MOKE microscopy and electrical measurements, enabling atomic-layer-resolved studies of a single magnetic interface without breaking vacuum. This approach allows us to systematically investigate interfacial spin–orbit phenomena, including the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction (DMI) and spin–orbit torque (SOT), as well as field- and current-driven domain-wall dynamics.
Ultrafast spin dynamics
Time-resovled magneto-optical Kerr effect (TR-MOKE) measurement enables direct observation of ultrafast magnetization dynamics. In our labortory, we combine TR-MOKE with fast electrical excitation to investigate magnetization switching driven by spin- and orbital- torques.
Spin & orbital transport for spintronics & orbitronics
Our group investigates spin and orbital transport in magnetic heterostructures by combining UHV thin-film growth, nanoscale device fabrication, and electrical transport measurements. Through systematic control of materials, compositions, thicknesses, and interfaces, we explore Hall and magnetoresistance phenomena, SOT, OT, USMR, and UOMR for spintronic applications.
