No — I don’t offer pack walks. All walks are private and one-on-one (or with dogs from the same household).
Private walks allow me to focus fully on your dog’s individual needs, energy level, and personality. This means safer walks, more consistent training reinforcement, and less stress for dogs who may be reactive, anxious, elderly, or still learning leash skills. One-on-one walks also reduce the risk of overstimulation, conflict between dogs, and the spread of illness.
Walks are done right in your dog’s own neighbourhood!
Walking locally allows your dog to stay in a familiar environment, which can be calming and confidence-building. It also avoids the stress and risks that can come with transportation, such as car anxiety or overstimulation from unfamiliar locations. Neighbourhood walks also help reinforce everyday leash skills, improve focus, and support positive behaviour in the places your dog spends the most time. Lastly, staying close to home also means more time spent walking and engaging, rather than driving!
Yes. Dogs do not need to be spayed or neutered to be accepted. Each dog is assessed individually to ensure services are safe, respectful, and a good fit for everyone involved.
Possibly — and that’s okay! Walks are meant to be enriching and engaging, which can include sniffing, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors. I always use good judgment based on the weather, your dog’s coat, and your preferences, and I avoid anything unsafe or excessively muddy. If you have specific concerns or boundaries, just let me know and I’ll happily accommodate them.
Your dog will always be walked by me. I don’t outsource or rotate walkers, so your dog gets consistency, familiarity, and a trusted relationship every time.
Yes. I provide biodegradable poop bags and handmade, single-ingredient air-dried treats. Clients are asked to supply their dog’s leash, harness or collar, and any specific gear their dog normally uses to ensure the best fit and comfort.
Invoices are sent out on Fridays, with payment due by the following Monday. Payment can be made by cash or e-transfer.
I ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel a walk. Late cancellations (less then 24hrs) or no-shows may be charged at my discression, as the time has been reserved specifically for your dog. Emergencies and unexpected situations are always handled with understanding.
