1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal information you disclose to us
In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.
Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.
Application Data. If you use our application(s), we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:
Geolocation Information. We may request access or permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application(s), to provide certain location-based services (such as local weather information). If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.
Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's camera, sensors, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.
Calendar (optional). If you turn on Calendar Sync, the app reads the titles and times of your calendar events to create alarms before them. This is read-only, stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Microphone (Android only, optional). While sleep tracking is on, the Android app takes short sound-level samples to notice loud noises such as snoring. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent anywhere; only a "was it loud" result is kept on your device.
Sleep estimates. Sleep figures in Snoozle are rough estimates based on your phone's movement (and, on Android, sound levels if you allow the microphone). They are processed on your device, are not medical measurements and are not intended to diagnose or treat any condition.
Mobile Device Data. We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system configuration information, device and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server).
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Rewarded Advertisements
Snoozle may offer users the option to watch a short rewarded video advertisement, served via Google AdMob, in exchange for an additional alarm snooze. In the Android app, you can also watch a short rewarded ad to try a Premium wake-up puzzle in practice mode before deciding whether to buy Premium. Watching these ads is entirely optional and is never required to use the app's core alarm and puzzle-dismissal functionality. Data collected through this ad format is limited to the advertising and device identifiers already described in this notice under "Third Parties: Advertising."
iOS Tracking Choice. On iOS, you choose whether to allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Where required by law, you are also asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice from "Privacy & ad choices" in the app's settings.
In-App Purchases. Snoozle Premium is an optional one-time purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play (Android) or Apple (iOS); we never receive your payment details.
Usage Analytics (Android only). The Android app uses GameAnalytics to understand how the app is used, for example installs, sessions, app version, device type and operating system, and in-app events such as ads shown. GameAnalytics processes this data under its own privacy policy: https://gameanalytics.com/privacy/
