Who Can Become a Member

Any school health professional encouraged to become a member, regardless of licensure! In partnership with the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) state and national dues are combined in a unified membership. Registered nurses are eligible for Active membership. Licensed nurses that serve in the primary assignment, the administration, education, or the provision of school health services are eligible for Associate membership. Any Active or Associate member of NASN/SNOO, upon retirement are eligible for Retired membership. New Member Scholarship

The New Member Scholarship is an exciting opportunity designed to welcome and reward first-time members. Each year, two newly joined members are selected through a random drawing. Each recipient receives up to $1,500 to attend the NASN in-person annual conference (covering registration, travel, and lodging). Eligible participants must be 18 years or older, hold a current RN license, be employed as a school nurse, and join NASN for the first time between April 1 and March 31. No separate application is required—new members are automatically entered upon joining.
