SEAMUS PURDY | President
Seamus is a High School Junior in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a socialist organizer who has collaborated with the Arab-American Elmahaba Center, Middle Tennessee DSA (MTDSA), Safer Schools Nashville (SSN), etc. He was also involved with Nashville's 2022 Youth in Government (YIG) conference, helping bring local attention to the over-funding of school police programs in Tennessee. He served as the first Youth Organizing Director of SNJ's youth organizing division from February 2022 to July 2022. He has since served as the second President of SNJ's youth organizing division since July 2022.
ETHAN EBLAGHIE | Youth Organizing Director
Ethan is a rising High School Junior in Baltimore City, the son of Chinese immigrants, and student government leader. He is Treasurer of the Associated Student Congress of Baltimore City (ASCBC), member of Maryland's VOTES coalition, and anti-SRO, School Board reform advocate. He was involved in the Student Commissioner reform movement that culminated in the passage of Maryland's Senate Bill 157. He has served as the Vice President of SNJ's youth organizing division since February 2022.
IRENE DIANE | Communications Manager
Irene is a High School Sophomore from Bowie, Maryland. She is working on school board reform projects in Prince George's County, having mounted a campaign to serve as the student Board Commissioner in Upper Marlboro. She is a founding member of Schools Not Jails and has served as the Communications Director since February 2022. She has worked to organize student walkouts over abortion rights and policing issues in Maryland.
ZOË DUNI | Events Manager
Zoë is a High School Junior from Silver Spring, Maryland. She organizes with Sunrise Movement Maryland and has organized a number of student events and protests in support of the passage of Build Back Better's climate action provisions. She has served as the Events Manager of SNJ's youth organizing division since February 2022.
ROSALIND CHURCHILL | Secretary
Rosalind is a rising High School Junior in Nashville. He was also a part of the Youth in Government (YIG) conference of Nashville in 2022 and is passionate about working-class coalition building and an end to the carceral state. He has served as the Secretary of SNJ's youth organizing division since April 2022.
