Snipkit privacy policy

Last updated October 27, 2026.

Snipkit expands short triggers you create into longer text. This policy says what stays on your computer and what leaves it.

What stays on your computer

Snippets, settings, and a license field you might fill in later are stored with Chrome on that computer. Snipkit does not run an account system and does not upload that library.

When you press Space or Tab in a text field, Snipkit looks at the few characters you just typed to see if they match one of your triggers. It does not keep a history of what you type, the pages you visit, or the rest of the page.

If you allow clipboard access, a snippet that contains the clipboard token can read what you last copied, at the moment you expand it. That text is inserted into the field. It is not stored.

What is shared

Snipkit does not sell data and does not send your snippets, clipboard, or browsing to the developer or to an ad network. Nothing in the current version is sent to a server for sync, because sync is not available yet.
