Vermont State Property Valuation and Review
The township has mandated a town-wide reappraisal for the Town of Cambridge. The reappraisal began on July 1, 2024, and will continue until its scheduled completion for the tax year ending
April 1, 2026.
For more information, please call the Cambridge Listers' Office at 802-644-2251, extension 3. Their office hours are Monday through Wednesday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Real Estate
The committee monitors sales of real estate at Smugglers' Notch Resort and provides an annual report in July. It also reports on any significant factors that could influence the value of our real estate holdings. There have been several sales this autumn; however, the sales pace remains well below the peak observed during the post-COVID period. The market's supply-and-demand dynamics continue to favor sellers.
Fractional Owner Communication
The committee handles essential discussions with corresponding committees from other owner groups at Smugglers' Notch Resort. These groups include fractional owners—comprising both Family and Equishare owners with deeded interests—and timeshare owners.
While there have been no recent meetings, discussions are anticipated regarding the cost-sharing of stormwater remediation assessments.
Winter Adventures
Have you walked up the Notch recently or the Colchester Causeway?
With the recent snow, these adventures are worth the time!
Eligibility: Only Full Owners of deeded homes are permitted to have pets.
Leash Requirement: Dogs must be on a leash when outdoors.
Owner Presence: The owner must be present with the dog when it is outside the home.
Safety & Consideration: Be aware that some guests (especially children) may be afraid of animals.
Walking your pet: Owners are responsible for cleaning up and properly disposing of all pet waste.
Identification: The pet must wear the official Smuggs bandana for identification.
🍞Cambridge Community Food Shelf
We encourage continued support and donations from SNHA and Smugglers’ Notch. The Resort has given back to the local community by supporting the Cambridge Community Food Shelf. This volunteer-based, non-profit organization is dedicated to providing food, clothing, and other essential items to local families in need. If you wish to support the food shelf during the holiday season, please visit their website at cambridgevtfs.wixsite.com/my-site.

👚Cambridge Clothing Bank
With temperatures looking to stay well below freezing, please keep in mind the Cambridge Clothing Bank if you have winter weather gear, especially jackets, to move along. All clothing should be freshly washed or cleaned and not have any animal hair on it. The clothing bank has a particular need for winter clothing for men, especially in larger sizes, and for boys and girls sizes six to 16, though all sizes are welcome. They cannot accept donations of shoes or boots, so those should go to Goodwill. Drop items off on Tuesdays between 1 and 7 p.m. at the Maple Street side of the Second Congregational Church in Jeffersonville.

WiFi Upgrades are completed. Cheryl Gandini will send a letter to the Homeowners.
